Tonya S. Mines, Esq.

Tonya is a graduate of Birmingham School of Law.  She earned her Master of Public Administration from Troy University with a concentration in Nonprofit Management.  She is also a graduate of The University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations.  

While in law school Attorney Mines, was able to gain valuable courtroom experience. She was a member of the AAJ BSL Mock Trial Team and helped lead her team to the 1st ever semifinals appearance.  She also competed in the annual Henninger Garrison Davis Closing Argument Competition where she placed 2nd.  Tonya was a member of the Hughe Locke Honor Society, Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity and served as Treasurer of the Black Law Students Association.  During and immediately after law school Attorney Mines gained invaluable experience and knowledge in the fields of criminal, family, and personal injury law.  

Born in Panola, Alabama, a small town where everybody knows your name,  the values of integrity, hardwork and perseverance were instilled in Tonya and remain today.  After working with several nonprofit agencies throughout the state, Tonya personally understands what it means to be of service to those in need and strives to uphold that standard in her practice.  She enjoys worshipping at First Baptist Church Old Jonesboro in Bessemer, AL and in her spare time, she enjoys Taekwondo, soccer, traveling and more importantly spending time with her family.   Ultimately, Attorney Mines feels extremely blessed to be able to use her gifts to uplift and be of service to others.

Meet Attorney Drew

Daron M. Drew, Esq.

Attorney Daron Drew is a Birmingham native with deep family roots in Alabama. She is a zealous advocate for her clients and is no stranger to hard work!

Seeking equitable treatment for all is what drove Attorney Drew to the legal profession. Professionally, she has served in various human resource roles in both the public and private sector prior to embarking into her legal career.

Before attending law school, Daron graduated from Alabama A&M University where she served as President of the Student Government Association. In 2013, Daron received her Masters’ in Public Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While in law school, she was awarded a summer clerkship at the Bargainer Law Group, under Rodney Bargainer, Shareholder and in the Federal Defenders Office in the Middle District of Alabama.

Fighting for others is what Daron what loves to do. A mother and wife, she understands the complexity that legal matters bring to any family and helps her clients navigate through those times.

Daron is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama Lawyers Association, Magic City Bar Association, Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc., and the NAACP.
